Benjamin Wilkinson is a 9-year-old boy who has been diagnosed with BCOR Sarcoma. Last summer, Benjamin was playing little league baseball when he tripped, injuring his leg. He finished the game, but later started complaining of pain in his thigh. After x-rays, an MRI, and a biopsy, it was confirmed that Benjamin had a small, malignant tumor on his left femur. Benjamin has endured 1 round of 6 chemotherapy treatments and surgery to remove the tumor in his thigh, which left him with a titanium prosthesis. He is currently undergoing his 2nd round of chemotherapy with 8 treatments that are scheduled to finish up at the end of February.
